I was was sitting at the entrance of Target on 72nd st, my mother was standing there by me when police shot 7 tear gas canisters toward case street then moved up the side walk towards me and my mom. When they reached us the police began to kick me to make me get up, then they proceeded to push their night stick in my mothers back. So then I got up because my mom had back surgery years ago. We was pushed to run through the tear gas and the officers wouldn’t allow us to walk any other way. The protest then moved to downtown Omaha where my self and a bunch of others got on our knees with our hand up and proceeded to say hands up don’t shoot. I watched the line of police raise their pepper ball guns and directly aim them at us and begin shooting. I didn’t get hit but my mother was hit in the leg and she had the imprint on her leg for a month.
